Steelers' Mendenhall goes down with hamstring injury

Pittsburgh running back Rashard Mendenhall is questionable to return to the Steelers' game against the Houston Texans because of a hamstring injury, NFL Network's Stacy Dales reported.

The Steelers training staff was working on Mendenhall's right hamstring mid-way through the third quarter and the tailback was still sidelined as the Steelers trailed the Texans 17-10 in the fourth quarter.

Running backs Mewelde Moore and Isaac Redman are now splitting carriers in Mendhenhall's absence.
