Steelers' Hampton, Keisel, Starks to be evaluated for injuries

The injuries that sidelined several key starters for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their wild-card loss to the Denver Broncos could have more serious consequences.

On NFL Network
"NFL Replay" will re-air the Broncos' 29-23 OT win over the Steelers on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said left tackle Max Starks and nose tackle Casey Hampton both suffered anterior cruciate ligament injuries and will be evaluated Monday to determine if surgery will be required.

Defensive end Brett Keisel also sustained what Tomlin called a "significant" groin injury and will be evaluated to see if he needs surgery.

Hampton and Keisel didn't return against the Broncos following their injuries. Starks briefly returned after he was announced as questionable, but he later was replaced by Jonathan Scott.
