Steelers agree to terms with first-round pick Hood

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms on a five-year contract with first-round draft choice Ziggy Hood.

The defensive lineman from Missouri was drafted 32nd overall by the defending Super Bowl champions. Financial terms were not disclosed on the deal announced Saturday.

The Steelers open training camp on Friday.

Hood becomes the fourth first-round pick to agree to a contract, joining Detroit's Matthew Stafford, the New York Jets' Mark Sanchez and Cleveland's Alex Mack.
