Starting QB Hasselbeck one of seven Seahawks out vs. Bears

SEATTLE -- Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck is out with a broken rib, one of seven starters missing for the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears.

Hasselbeck didn't practice all week after being hurt in last weekend's game at San Francisco. Backup Seneca Wallace made the 13th start of his seven-year NFL career for Seattle on Sunday.

Nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Walter Jones remained out following his knee surgery last month. Middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu, cornerback Josh Wilson, offensive tackle Sean Locklear, fullback Justin Griffith and outside linebacker Leroy Hill also were inactive for the Seahawks.

The Bears were without tight end Desmond Clark, who broke a rib two weeks ago. Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa also was out with a knee injury.
