Smith, O'Hara, Diehl again practice for Giants

Four injured New York Giants starters -- including wide receiver Steve Smith -- practiced for a second consecutive day Thursday, the *Star-Ledger* reported.

Smith (pectoral muscle) and left tackle David Diehl (hip, hamstring) have missed the past three games, and center Shaun O'Hara (foot) has played in just four of 11 games this season, missing the past four.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee), who leads the team with eight sacks, also participated in practice.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (leg), left tackle Shawn Andrews (back) and cornerback-kick returner Will Blackmon (chest) didn't practice.
