Shanahan has no clear-cut choice in QB dilemma

The Redskins opened up a can of worms when they didn't take a quarterback in the draft and then coach Mike Shanahanspoke highly of the unknown John Beck.

Having so much faith in Beck, who has only four career starts under his belt, made many question the logic with Donovan McNabb and Rex Grossman still in the picture.

Granted, McNabb's future with the Redskins is uncertain considering his disappointing 2010 campaign, his price tag and fractured relationship with the coaching staff.

Though Grossman is currently a free agent, he is expected to return and his familiarity with Shanahan's system could make it tough for Beck to win the job in an abbreviated offseason.
