Seahawks sign former Colts LB Hagler, ex-Saints WR Simon

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks signed former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Tyjuan Hagler and wide receiver Matt Simon on Tuesday.

Terms of the deals weren't disclosed.

To make roster room, the Seahawks waived injured wide receiver Marcus Maxwell and released cornerback Chris Richards. Maxwell and Richards both signed with the Seahawks in May.

Hagler was a fifth-round pick by the Colts in 2005. He has started 17 of 37 games in his NFL career.

Simon originally signed with the New Orleans Saints before the 2009 season and was with their practice squad for one week before being released.
