Seahawks OT Charles Cross agrees to four-year, $104.4M extension

A day after securing the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, the Seattle Seahawks secured the future of one of their brightest young players.

Offensive tackle Charles Cross agreed to a four-year, $104.4 million contract extension that includes $75 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Rapoport added the Cross will receive $40.5 million in Year 1 of the deal, and at $26.1 million per year it is the largest non-QB contract in Seattle history.

The Seahawks selected Cross with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and the Mississippi State product has been a staple on the offensive line since Day 1, starting 62 out of a possible 68 games over that span.

Cross sat out the Seahawks' Week 18 win over the 49ers due to a hamstring injury, but Rapoport reported that Cross is expected to be back on the field come the Divisional Round in two weeks.
