Saints, Texans have the right stuff for road victories

There was no greatness on the road last week, as all four home teams won in the wild-card round. (In fact, three of the games weren't even close.)

The challenge gets even harder for the road teams in this weekend's divisional round, as they'll each be facing a well-rested home team that isn't coming off a bruising, high-pressure football game the previous weekend.

Still, hope remains that one or more of this weekend's road warriors will conquer its host.

We've narrowed it down to two teams, the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Texans. The traditional strength of the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers as home playoff teams discourages us from feeling too enthusiastically about the chances of a Denver Broncos or New York Giants upset. The Saints and the Texans are in the best position to get a difficult playoff road victory this week.
