Saints RB Bush, LT Brown injured, miss game vs. Texans

HOUSTON -- New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush and left tackle Jammal Brown didn't dress for Saturday night's preseason game against the Houston Texans because of injuries.

Bush has a calf strain that the Saints say isn't serious. Brown is having pain in his upper groin and missed practice Thursday to see a specialist to try and diagnose the problem.

Bush had surgery in December to repair cartilage in his left knee, but he had recovered from that procedure.

Pierre Thomas started in place of Bush, and Jermon Bushrod played for Brown.
