Saints LB Vilma takes part in walk-through at practice Friday

New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma was back at practice as a limited participant Friday after sitting out Thursday with a knee injury.

Coach Sean Paytontold the New Orleans Times-Picayune on Thursday that Vilma was on track to play in Saturday's divisional playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers. Payton indicated then that Vilma, who was a limited participant Wednesday, would be on the field for Friday's walkthroughs.

Vilma played in last weekend's playoff game against the Detroit Lions but missed the regular-season finale. He is listed as probable for Saturday's game.

Saints receiver Lance Moore (hamstring), who has not played since Week 16 of the regular season, missed his third straight day of practice and was ruled out, along with tight end John Gilmore (toe). Safety Roman Harper (ankle), linebacker Jonathan Casillas (knee) and receiver Robert Meachem (knee) were limited; Harper and Meachem are listed as probable while Casillas is listed as questionable.

The Saints flew to San Francisco Thursday and practiced Friday at Candlestick Park, a move that Payton said is consistent with the team's general strategy for traveling to the West Coast, according to the team's official site.

San Francisco tight end Delanie Walker, whose jaw was injured in a Week 16 victory over the Seahawks, did not participate in practice but is listed as questionable. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Thursday he doesn't expect Walker to play, according to the team's official site.

Receiver Ted Ginn (ankle), defensive tackle Ray McDonald (hamstring) and receiver Kyle Williams (concussion) were all limited participants for the 49ers and are listed as questionable, along with cornerback Chris Culliver (knee, illness).
