Russell Wilson leads Seahawks to win over Redskins

LANDOVER, Md. -- Russell Wilson rushed for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown Monday night, and the Seattle Seahawks overcame more than a dozen penalties -- including three that wiped out apparent touchdowns by Percy Harvin -- in a 27-17 victory over the Washington Redskins.

Wilson completed 18 of 24 passes for 201 yards and two more scores for the Seahawks, who displayed an uncharacteristic lack of crispness coming off their bye. Coach Pete Carroll's team drew 13 flags for 90 yards, keeping the game closer than it probably should have been.

Seattle (3-1) is an NFL-best 21-8 on Monday nights, including nine consecutive wins. The team is 11-1 in prime time under Carroll.

Washington (1-4) has dropped seven straight prime-time games.
