*The New York Daily News* reported the Jets likely won't sign Brown before Monday night's AFC East showdown with the New England Patriots.

Folk has missed five of his past 11 field-goal attempts and hit an upright on an extra-point attempt Thursday night.

Brown, a 12th-year pro, went 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts while filling in for the San Diego Chargers' Nate Kaeding earlier this season. He lost a training camp battle with Neil Rackers after nine seasons as the Houston Texans' kicker.
