Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall is on the mend after his wife was charged with stabbing him with a kitchen knife last month and might resume workouts as soon as "this week or next," the *South Florida Sun Sentinel* reported Saturday.
Marshall was briefly hospitalized April 23 after being stabbed in the abdomen. His wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. An arrest report said Nogami-Marshall told officers she was defending herself in the confrontation.
Marshall was among more than a dozen Dolphinsat team headquarters in Davie, Fla. last month, after a federal judge declared the NFL lockout illegal and the league briefly lifted restrictions on team contact with players. Fewer than 100 hours after it was lifted, the lockout was back on, and the team is again forbidden from contacting Marshall and other players.
