Report: Giants CB Ross back after practice scare

Giants cornerback Aaron Ross, who was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, was seen being tended to by trainers early in Thursday's session, the *New York Daily News* reported.

Ross, who has struggled with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, returned to the field after being retaped, *Newsday* reported.

Ross, who was inactive for the season opener against the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday, was in pads, but he was seen limping and then hopping on a trainer's cart before returning.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) returned to practice, according to the New York Post.
