Report: Giants CB Ross back after practice scare

Giants cornerback Aaron Ross, who was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, was seen being tended to by trainers early in Thursday's session, the New York Daily News reported.

Ross, who has struggled with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, returned to the field after being retaped, Newsday reported.

Ross, who was inactive for the season opener against the Carolina Panthers this past Sunday, was in pads, but he was seen limping and then hopping on a trainer's cart before returning.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora (knee) returned to practice, according to the New York Post.
