Report: Ex-Raiders RB Fargas passes physical, will join Broncos

Former Oakland Raiders running back Justin Fargas passed a physical Tuesday night and will sign with the injury-depleted Broncos, *The Denver Post* reported.

Fargas should be on the practice field for the Broncos' Wednesday morning practice, according to The Post.

The team sought running back depth after losing starter Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) and backup Correll Buckhalter (upper neck) to injuries early in training camp. Recently acquired LenDale White also is hurt.

Buckhalter was scheduled to see a specialist to determine the severity of his injury. A league source told NFL.com's Steve Wyche that it was unclear when Moreno and Buckhalter would return, although Moreno's hamstring injury is projected to be healed before the season opener.
