Report: Cowboys hire UNC's Baker to coach defensive line

The Dallas Cowboys have hired University of North Carolina assistant Brian Baker to coach their defensive line under new coordinator Rob Ryan, the *Rock Hill Herald* reported Tuesday.

Baker spent just over one month at UNC when the Cowboys offered him the job -- an opportunity he said he couldn't pass up.

Baker has 15 years of NFL coaching experience, having worked for the San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers.
