Redskins dip into practice squad to replace Haynesworth

ASHBURN, Va. -- The Washington Redskins filled Albert Haynesworth's roster spot by promoting rookie offensive lineman Erik Cook from the practice squad.

The Redskins made the move Saturday as they prepared for their game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Cook is a seventh-round draft pick from New Mexico. He was signed to the practice squad shortly after he was cut from the main roster at the end of training camp.

Defensive lineman Haynesworth was suspended for the rest of the season without pay by the Redskins on Tuesday.
