Ravens WR Mason says he had surgery on injured finger

Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason told Fox Sports Radio 1370 that he had surgery on his broken right pinkie finger Monday and had a pin inserted in it, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The Ravens have a bye this week, and Mason said he would be recovered in time for a Nov. 7 showdown with the Miami Dolphins.

Mason hasn't missed any games this season while nursing the bad finger and an ankle injury. He has 26 receptions for 357 yards and one touchdown through seven games.
