Rams rule out Bradford vs. Cowboys; veteran Feeley to start

St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys with a lingering high left ankle sprain.

Veteran A.J. Feeley will get his first start since 2007, when he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Feeley has thrown 27 touchdowns and 29 interceptions during his 11 seasons in the league. Along with the Rams and Eagles, he's spent time with the Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins.

Bradford suffered the injury near the end of the team's 24-3 loss loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 6. He missed practice all week and was initially listed as questionable by the Rams on Friday's injury report.

After a promising rookie season, Bradford has thrown for only three touchdowns in five games for the 0-5 Rams.

The Rams also waived wide receiver Nick Miller.
