Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie hopes to sign safety Tyvon Branch to a long-term deal at some point this offseason, a source recently told Pro Football Weekly.

Branch, who received the franchise tag from the Raiders, has played his entire NFL career in Oakland. He is scheduled to make $6.2 million in 2012 if he doesn't sign a long-term deal with the team.

Branch has recorded 347 tackles and three interceptions and forced three fumbles in four seasons.
