Raiders likely without CB Asomugha, TE Miller against Chiefs

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders could be without Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and leading receiver Zach Miller for Sunday's AFC West showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Coach Tom Cable said Friday that Asomugha is doubtful with a sprained right ankle, and Miller is doubtful with a foot injury. Cable said it will be a game-time decision whether either will play. Neither participated in practice at all this week.

Chris Johnson would take Asomugha's starting cornerback spot, while Brandon Myers would start in place of Miller.

This week's game against the first-place Chiefs is the biggest for the Raiders (4-4) in years. Oakland has not had a .500 record or better this late in the season since 2002.
