Raiders deny report that four coaches have been fired

The Oakland Raiders on Tuesday denied a report that defensive coordinator Chuck Bresnahan, linebackers coach Greg Biekert and secondary coaches Kevin Ross and Rod Woodson have been fired.

According to the Contra Costa Times, the team's senior executive John Herrera said the story by KGMZ-FM was "not right."

Oakland coach Hue Jackson told a Sacramento radio audience Tuesday that he wouldn't comment on the status of his staff. The team's website still lists Bresnahan and the other three assistants as part of Jackson's coaching staff.

Bresnahan just concluded his first season as the Raiders' defensive coordinator, in which the team tied for 29th in the NFL with 27.1 points allowed per game.
