Quick Take: Texans can't rally past Titans

It was over when ...
Texans rookie WR/PR Jacoby Jones fumbled a Craig Hentrich punt, recovered by the Titans on the Texans 29 in the fourth quarter. Two plays later, Titans RB Chris Brown rumbled 7 yards into the end zone to give the Titans a 28-17 lead. The Texans brought the score within 28-20, but safety Michael Griffin's interception of Sage Rosenfels sealed the Tennessee win.

Titans QB Vince Young went 21-of-31 for 248 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He added 44 yards on the ground.

Key stat
The Texans' two turnovers were critical to the Titans' victory. Jones' fumble was converted into a touchdown, while Rosenfels' interception cut short a potential game-tying drive.

Noteworthy
Matt Schaub left the game with a left shoulder injury with 3:16 remaining in the first quarter. He did not return. Schaub was replaced by Rosenfels, who finished the game 17-of-30 for 185 yards, one touchdown and one interception. ... Houston's 31 giveaways this season lead the league. ...
