Quick take: Seattle downs Tampa Bay 20-6

It was over when ...
Seattle QB Matt Hasselbeck hooked up with Maurice Morris for a 34-yard touchdown pass midway through the fourth quarter to give the Seahawks a 20-6 lead. Morris, a backup running back, did not catch a single touchdown pass in 2006. QB Jeff Garcia drove the Buccaneers to the Seattle 21 on the ensuing possession, but Seattle's Lofa Tatupu forced a fumble that the Seahawks recovered.

Game ball
Seahwaks RB Shaun Alexander looked like the runner we saw two seasons ago. He scored a touchdown in the first half, then took over in the second half, running over tacklers and helping Seattle control the time of posession. He finished with 105 yards in 27 carries.

Key stat
Tampa Bay's Garcia was 19-of-27 passing but accounted for only 201 yards through the air -- and that includes a 49-yard completion to Joey Galloway. While he was efficient in terms of completion percentage, the Bucs' passing game didn't produce any points. Garcia left the game after taking a hard hit on a third quarter scramble but later returned.

Noteworthy
Both Garcia and Cadillac Williams left the game within minutes of each other in the third quarter. Garcia eventually returned, but Williams never made it back from the locker room, suffering an apparent rib injury.
