Quick Take: Ravens fend off 49ers, 9-7

Game balls
In a game lacking big plays on either side of the ball, two standout special teams players earn the honor. Ravens placekicker Matt Stover connected on three field goals to account for Baltimore's only points. For the 49ers, punter Andy Lee pinned the Ravens inside the 5-yard-line twice and inside the 20 three times, while averaging 48.7 yards on seven punts.

Key stat
Baltimore controlled the time of possession, holding the ball for 38 minutes and limiting San Francisco to just six first downs.

Noteworthy
The Ravens lost a pair of offensive linemen to injury, tackle Adam Terry and center Mike Flynn. Filling in for Todd Heap, who was inactive, Baltimore tight end Quinn Sypniewski caught four passes for 28 yards.
