Jacksonville's Sammy Knight intercepted Philip Rivers' pass with 1:26 left in the game, and the Chargers driving for a potential tying score. Rivers, who leads the NFL in turnovers, threw a pair of fourth-quarter interceptions.

Running back Maurice Jones-Drew scored on a 1-yard touchdown plunge in the first quarter. But his devastating block on blitzing linebacker Shawne Merriman in the third quarter was more impressive. It gave quarterback David Garrard time to find Marcedes Lewis on a 1-yard touchdown, which proved to be the deciding score.

Key stat
LaDainian Tomlinson finished with 62 rushing yards, the fourth consecutive game in which he has failed to reach 100 yards on the ground. LT did have 93 receiving yards, but teams have been shutting down San Diego's running game and forcing Rivers to win the game, something the Chargers QB has struggled to do this season.
