Fred Taylor ran 6 yards to the Broncos 10 for a first down with 2:00 left in the fourth quarter, allowing the Jaguars to run out the clock as the Broncos had used all of their timeouts. Jacksonville held the ball for the final 5:46 of the game.

Maurice Jones-Drew received a season-high 22 carries for the Jaguars after Fred Taylor was injured. Jones-Drew rushed for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
