Last week
A frustrating season continued for the Jaguars, whose 21-19 loss in Cincinnati gave the Bengals their first win of the season. ... The Lions allowed the Bears to rush for 154 yards, including 126 from Matt Forte, in a 27-23 loss at Soldier Field.

Keep your eye on ...
Mr. Megatron ...Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is commanding more double teams since the departure of Roy Williams but has reached the end zone in his last four games, recording 390 yards in that time. Jacksonville has allowed the second-most TD passes in the league this season with 14.

Culpepper's possible debut: With Dan Orlovsky suffering a thumb injury, the Lions might be forced to press newly signed Daunte Culpepper into starting duty even though Culpepper will have practiced with the team for just four days and hasn't played football in almost a year. That's asking a lot, especially against ...

... A desperate and embarrassed team: The Jaguars will be facing their second winless team in as many weeks. At 3-5, the Jaguars are not dead, but a loss to the 0-8 Lions could be another nail in the coffin.

Taylor's tumble: Since 2000, Fred Taylor has 13 100-yard performances against AFC opponents. But other than a 121-yard Week 3 performance vs. the Colts, Taylor has totaled just 134 yards in seven interconference games this season. Jacksonville's rushing average is down nearly 30 yards from last season, and Taylor's lack of production has a lot to do with it.
