Brooks Bollinger started the second half for the Cowboys and immediately threw an interception on his first pass attempt. Bollinger came in because Brad Johnson was ineffective, but after that pick it became apparent that he was incapable of leading a comeback.

The driving force behind the Giants' productive outing was the offensive line. The unit dominated the line of scrimmage and opened gaping holes for a Brandon Jacobs-led backfield that averaged nearly six yards a carry, while also giving QB Eli Manning plenty of time to stand calmly in the pocket and find receivers.
