The Cardinals, down by eight, couldn't recover a perfectly-booted onside kick with four minutes remaining. Six plays later, John Carney nailed a 33-yard field goal to extend the Giants' lead.

Giants KR/WR Domenik Hixon racked up 269 all-purpose yards, including 201 return yards, which gave the Giants excellent field position throughout the game. His 68-yard kickoff return just before halftime set up New York's go-ahead touchdown.
