Quick Take: Cards come back to top Seattle

It was over when ...
Neil Rackers booted a 43-yard field goal with a second remaining. Cardinals linebacker Gerald Hayes forced a fumble that was recovered by Darnell Dockett at the Seahawks 46 with just under two minutes left to set up the Cardinals winning drive. This was the kind of game that would have haunted the Cardinals in past years, but the team rallied from a 3-point deficit to score twice in the final five minutes and win the game.

Game balls
The Cardinals' inexperienced offensive line was exceptional, as it kept Matt Leinart's uniform clean and provided some open holes for Edgerrin James. The only sack occurred when Leinart tripped over his center's feet. James rushed for 127 yards and scored a touchdown.

Key stat
Shaun Alexander rushed for 70 yards on 18 carries, and the Seahawks dropped to 3-4 against the Cardinals in games in which he rushes for fewer than 100 yards. On the flip side, Seattle is 4-0 against Arizona in games where Alexander surpasses 100 yards rushing.

Noteworthy
Ken Whisenhunt notched his first career victory as head coach. ... The Seahawks were average in the NFC West last season (3-3), and now start 2007 0-1 in the division.
