Who were the NFL's top stars in Week 3? Each Wednesday, the league unveils its weekly honor roll. See who the Players of the Week are below.
AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Taylor -- and the Colts -- are on a roll. The breakaway back was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight time, rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns in Indy's 41-20 blowout victory against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Taylor had a pair of 1-yard TD runs and a 46-yard score as the Colts got off to a 3-0 start.
NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Free hot dogs and his first Player of the Week accolade were byproducts of Williams' stellar Sunday performance as he lifted the Bears over the Dallas Cowboys, 31-14. Williams threw for 298 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions and a sterling 142.6 QB rating. Williams flexed his rocket arm and threw TDs to four receivers -- a 35-yarder to Rome Odunze, a 65-yard flea flicker to Luther Burden III, a 10-yarder to Cole Kmet and a 4-yarder to DJ Moore.
AFC Defensive Player of the Week
As has been the case throughout the season so far, James was all over the field and the box score Sunday in the Chargers' 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos. While the Bolts improved to 3-0, James posted 12 tackles, four tackles for loss and a sack to lead a Chargers defense that allowed a mere 265 yards and nine first downs.
NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Rodgers outscored the Cincinnati Bengals all by himself in the Vikings' 48-10 blowout win on Sunday. Rodgers became the first player in Minnesota history to tally two defensive touchdowns in one game when he recorded an 87-yard interception return for a touchdown and a 66-yard fumble return for a score -- both in the first half. Rodgers forced two fumbles on the day, broke up two passes, as well, and had three tackles in an all-time performance.
AFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Two weeks after missing a field goal and an extra point in a one-point loss, Szmyt rose to hero status when he kicked the Browns to a 13-10 upset of the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Szmyt made each of his three kicks, including a 35-yarder in the fourth quarter to begin a 10-point comeback and a 55-yard game-winner with no time left. All seven of Szmyt's points came in the fourth quarter.
NFC Special Teams Player of the Week
With his Eagles clinging to a one-point edge, Davis came up huge when he blocked the Los Angeles Rams' game-winning 44-yard field goal attempt. Davis added an exclamation point for a 33-26 victory when he rumbled 61 yards for a touchdown. Davis, who earned his first Player of the Week accolade, had an excellent all-around game with five tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss and a QB hit.
