Pepsi NEXT Rookie of the Year: Keenan Allen

Voters on NFL.com made their choice, and Keenan Allen of the San Diego Chargers is the Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Year for 2013, the NFL announced during the "NFL Honors" awards show. Allen led all NFL rookies with 1,046 yards and eight touchdowns receiving. Read up on all of this year's nominees for the Pepsi Next Rookie of the Year.

PEPSI NEXT ROOKIE OF THE YEAR NOMINEES

Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers

Lacy rushed for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns for the NFC North-champion Packers.

Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers

Allen had 71 receptions for 1,046 yards and eight touchdowns for the Chargers, who made the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

Kiko Alonso, Buffalo Bills

Alonso registered 159 total tackles, two sacks and four interceptions for the Bills. While his tackle total was the best on the team, he was tied with three other teammates for most interceptions.

Giovani Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals

Bernard had 695 yards and five touchdowns rushing, and 514 yards and three touchdowns receiving for the AFC North-champion Bengals.

Cordarrelle Patterson, Minnesota Vikings

Patterson had 469 yards and four touchdowns receiving, as well as 158 yards and three touchdowns rushing. He also added two kickoff-return touchdowns to his scoring total.
