The New England Patriots have given cornerback Kyle Arrington an exclusive-rights tender, meaning the team will retain the starter's rights in the event of an NFL lockout, the Boston Herald reported Monday night.
The tender is for the league minimum of $480,000 for one season. It's possible Arrington could sign it, or he and the team could work out a new contract.
Arrington, who made the Patriots' roster as an undrafted free agent in 2009, had 71 tackles and one interception in his first season as a starter.
