New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is out of his walking boot as he recovers from a high left ankle sprain.

Gronkowski said at Super Bowl Media Day that he stopped wearing the boot Monday.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick has described Gronkowski as day to day.

Gronkowski has yet to return to practice since sustaining the injury against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
