Patriots' Chung, Haynesworth don't make trip to Buffalo

The Patriots will be without safety Patrick Chung when they take the field against the Bills on Sunday.

Chung was listed as questionable after undergoing surgery to repair a thumb issue this week. He practiced on Friday, but did not travel with the team to Buffalo.

Chung was hurt during the second half of the Patriots' Week 2 win over the Chargers. He left the field with New England's medical staff at the time of the injury but later returned with a cast on his right hand. Chung finished the game with five tackles to push his season total to 14.

Also downgraded to out on Saturday were wide receiver Taylor Price (hamstring) and defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (back). The team previously ruled out tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee), tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back) and defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion).

Among the Patriots players listed as questionable are Cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hip), linebacker Gary Guyton (hamstring), punter Zoltan Mesko (left knee) and lineman Ryan Wendell (calf).
