Patriots' Brady reportedly has injured finger on throwing hand

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady apparently has a minor injury to the middle finger on his throwing hand, the Boston Herald reported Saturday.

Brady had the middle finger and his index finger taped together at practice Saturday. The three-time Super Bowl winner had his right hand wrapped in a towel on the sideline during the second half of Thursday night's preseason victory over the New Orleans Saints.

Brady was 5-for-8 passing for 67 yards in the Patriots' 27-24 victory.
