Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin has completed an interview for the Miami Dolphins' head-coaching job, the team announced Saturday.

Jeff Fisher remains the Dolphins' top choice, but they might lose out to the St. Louis Rams, whom league sources told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora are expected to win the former Tennessee Titans coach's services. Both teams interviewed Fisher this week.
Philbin completed his interview Saturday. The Packers have the top seed in the NFC and thus a bye this weekend.
Philbin has been with the Packers since 2003, and he has been offensive coordinator since 2007, although coach Mike McCarthy calls the plays.
Philbin also was scheduled to interview last Wednesday for the Kansas City Chiefs' head-coaching vacancy, though a league source told NFL Network's Michael Lombardi on Saturday that the team is poised to remove the interim label from defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel and make him their full-time coach.
The Dolphins also have interviewed Todd Bowles, who became interim coach after Tony Sparano was fired with three games left in the season. Chicago Bears special teams coordinator Dave Toub also has talked to the Dolphins about the job.
The Dolphins also have been granted permission to interview Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey, a league source told La Canfora on Saturday.
Mularkey went 14-18 in two seasons (2004-05) as the Buffalo Bills' coach. He has been the Falcons' offensive coordinator since 2008.
Meanwhile, Dolphins quarterbacks coach Karl Dorrell has drawn interest from Yale University for its head-coaching job, a league source told La Canfora on Saturday. Dorrell has college head-coaching experience, compiling a 35-27 record in five seasons at UCLA (2003-07), and his contract with the Dolphins is expiring.
