Packers fans flog Vikings' Robison on Twitter for groin kick

Vikings defensive end Brian Robison undoubtedly will receive a hefty fine from the NFL for his kick to Packers guard T.J. Lang's groin in Sunday's game. In the meantime, Robison is paying a price in the court of public opinion.

That's one thing about Twitter: Make a mistake, and fans will bust your balls.

On NFL Replay
NFL Replay will re-air the Packers' 33-27 win over the Vikings on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

"By the time I got on there, there were already like 500-something mentions," Robison said Monday, according to The Associated Press. "I'd say probably 87 percent of them were Packer fans telling me how much of a piece of (expletive) I am."

Justified or a bit much?

Two things to consider here: First, a cursory glance at Robison's Twitter page reveals he has responded to a barrage of comments from fans in the past 24 hours -- some good, some bad -- which at least shows he's owning up to his mistake. Second, Robison quickly issued an apology to Lang that the Packer already has accepted.

So if Lang can forgive Robison, shouldn't Packers fans?
