Our community partners play a central role in our efforts to expand our reach and grow the game. Discover how we collaborate with them to make a difference in communities across Canada through football.

OWIFA

About: The Ontario Women's Intercollegiate Football Association (OWIFA) is a league organized and run by women's flag football programs from colleges and universities across Ontario, Canada. They bring together university and college athletes who share a passion for football and provide them with an opportunity to compete and grow. 

The Partnership: NFL Canada is committed to growing women's flag football at the collegiate level and will be assisting OWIFA in programming & events for women and girls at all levels.

Football Canada

About: Football Canada is the National Governing Body of Canadian Amateur Football, which represents tackle, touch and flag components including players, coaches, officials and administrators.

The Partnership: As part of a shared goal to increase overall participation across the country, NFL Canada supports Football Canada's delivery of youth flag football, programs to underserved communities to strengthen Canadian player pathways to international competition.

Football Ontario

About: Football Ontario is the official Provincial Sport Organization of Canadian football in the province of Ontario with a mandate to provide football for all through leadership, promotion, and development. 

The Partnership: NFL Canada has partnered with Football Ontario as the official sponsor of Women and Girl's football across the province with a focus on flag football. The partnership also provides access to the NFL Flag-In-Schools Program, delivering NFL Flag Football Kits to both elementary and high schools across the province.

Football Toronto

About: Football Toronto is a volunteer run, registered non-profit representing the contact football community in Toronto, Ontario. They advocate, preserve and grow the game of football by reducing barriers through developing and promoting teams, athletes, coaches and referees. 

The Partnership: Football Toronto and NFL Canada have partnered to help enhance and grow high school football in Toronto. The partnership will fund the annual Toronto Bowl series and equip every Toronto high school football program with advanced film and video analytics tools.

Canadian Cancer Society (CCS)

About: Canada's largest national charitable funder of research into all types of cancer. In trusted partnership with donors and volunteers, CCS improves the lives of all those affected by cancer through world-class research, transformative advocacy and compassionate support.

The Partnership: For the fourth year, the Canadian Cancer Society is teaming up with NFL Canada through the NFL Crucial Catch partnership to raise funds to support those living with and beyond cancer. Throughout October, NFL Crucial Catch games raise awareness for cancer prevention with players, coaches, fans, and referees in apparel supporting multiple types of cancer.
