Odrick, Jerry close to rejoining Dolphins' practice

DAVIE, Fla. -- Defensive end Jared Odrick and guard John Jerry are closer to rejoining practice as the Miami Dolphins begin preparations for their game Monday night against New England.

Odrick and Jerry rode exercise bikes while the Dolphins worked out Wednesday. Odrick missed the last two games because of a hairline fracture in his right leg, and Jerry sat out last week with an illness.

Inside linebacker Channing Crowder had a more expanded role in practice and might play for the first time this season against the Patriots. He has been sidelined by a groin injury.
