Odell Beckham Jr. reveals pick for NFL's best corner

It's long been evident that Josh Norman and Odell Beckham Jr. have gotten into each other's heads. But when it came time to name the best corner in the game, Beckham veered far from his rival to choose a guy he's yet to face.

"I think the best cornerback in the league, I haven't got the experience of playing against -- Patrick Peterson," Beckham said when speaking at a Sky Sports Facebook Live event in the United Kingdom.

In Beckham's short but well-documented professional career, the Giants have faced the Cardinals just once: Week 2 of 2014, during which Beckham was sidelined with an injury. But that didn't keep the flamboyant receiver from showing respect for and heaping praise on the five-time Pro Bowl defensive back, who claims the same school -- LSU -- as Beckham.

"(Peterson is) by far one of the best in the game, hands down," Beckham continued. "He's going to follow you from your house, to his house, to the sidelines, to the cricket field."

The cricket comment was a nice touch and proof that Beckham is adept at playing to his chosen crowd. It was also perhaps the most noteworthy part of his European odyssey, which included photos with fans and standing on top of an SUV while adoring masses chanted his name (all of which was compiled in a highlight reel, set to the musical stylings of Future on OBJ's Instagram page).

Beckham won't have the opportunity to face who he thinks is the league's best unless the Cardinals and Giants face off in the playoffs. He'll have to go through Norman -- now a member of the NFC East rival Redskins -- to get that chance.
