Notable injuries we're monitoring around the league on this Week 17 Sunday:
»Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) and guard Brandon Brooks (shoulder) were ruled out against the Giants after suffering injuries in the first half. Brooks suffered a dislocated shoulder that was popped back into place, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. He'll undergo tests Monday to determine the damage, but the guard's status for next week's playoff game is uncertain.
The Chiefs fear rookie safety Juan Thornhill suffered a significant knee injury in Sunday's win that will knock him out for the playoffs, sources tell NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Thornhill will have an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the injury, per Rapoport.
»Washington Redskins safety Maurice Smith did not return to the game after sustaining a concussion. Running back Josh Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury.
Receiver Jaron Brown was ruled out in the first quarter with a knee injury. Linebacker Mychal Kendricks suffered a knee injury and did not return.
