Notable injuries we're monitoring around the league on this Week 17 Sunday:

»Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) and guard Brandon Brooks (shoulder) were ruled out against the Giants after suffering injuries in the first half. Brooks suffered a dislocated shoulder that was popped back into place, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. He'll undergo tests Monday to determine the damage, but the guard's status for next week's playoff game is uncertain.

»Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland dealt with an illness during Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.

The Chiefs fear rookie safety Juan Thornhill suffered a significant knee injury in Sunday's win that will knock him out for the playoffs, sources tell NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Thornhill will have an MRI Monday to determine the severity of the injury, per Rapoport.

»Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman DeMarcus Lawrence injured his ribs against the Redskins.

»Chicago Bears wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson sustained a concussion in the first half vs. the Vikings. Receiver Anthony Miller suffered a shoulder injury and did not return.

»Houston Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph did not return after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's tilt against the Titans.

»Washington Redskins safety Maurice Smith did not return to the game after sustaining a concussion. Running back Josh Ferguson suffered a hamstring injury.

»Green Bay Packers center Corey Linsley sustained a back injury versus the Lions. Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Linsley's injury is not considered too serious and he should be ready after the first-round bye. Linebacker B.J. Goodson suffered a neck injury.

»Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Will Grier (foot) did not return vs. the Saints after being carted off in the second quarter.

»Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay sustained a concussion vs. the Packers. Tight end Isaac Nauta (hamstring) and linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) exited the matchup with injuries.

»Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting did not return after suffering an ankle injury vs. the Falcons. Defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches exited with a foot injury.

»Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Desmond Kingleft Sunday's loss to the Chiefs early due to an ankle injury. Tackle Sam Tevi also suffered an ankle injury.

»Buffalo Bills cornerback Levi Wallace suffered an ankle injury and did not return against the Jets. Tackle Ty Nsekhe was carted off after getting rolled up on in the third quarter.

»Atlanta Falcons cornerback Kendall Sheffield exited with an ankle injury against the Buccaneers and did not return.

»Seattle Seahawks tight end Luke Willson did not play against the San Francisco 49ers after suffering a hip injury in Friday's practice, NFL Network's Omar Ruiz reported. The team officially listed him as inactive.

Receiver Jaron Brown was ruled out in the first quarter with a knee injury. Linebacker Mychal Kendricks suffered a knee injury and did not return.
