The Washington Post reported on a Virginia Beach boy who received a surprise visit from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu.

The Gwinnett Daily Post featured a fundraiser for the Concussion Institute of Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Ga., that included former NFL players like Brian Finneran.

The Associated Press reported that state officials are pleased with the Wyoming concussion law after one year it went on the books.

WFAA-TV profiled a 7-year-old Mesquite, Texas girl who won her age group in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition last week.

KENS-TV featured UT Health Science Center professor Dr. James Lechleiter, who received a patent for a possible new drug to actually prevent brain damage immediately after a concussion.
