NFL: Goodell to attend Vikings-Lions game, hold fan forum

DETROIT -- NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is planning to attend this weekend's Vikings-Lions game in Detroit and will hold a fan forum before the game.

The league confirmed Goodell's plans Tuesday night and said more details would be announced Wednesday. Detroit takes on Minnesota at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.

The Lions recently have had Goodell's attention. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was suspended two games for roughing up a Green Bay Packers lineman during a Thanksgiving game -- less than one month after Suh initiated a meeting with the commissioner to discuss his on-field conduct.

Suh sat out the first game of his suspension last weekend against the New Orleans Saints.
