The New York Giants capped off a busy day of personnel moves Wednesday night by acquiring free-agent cornerback Antwaun Molden, who played with the New England Patriots last season.
The Star-Ledger reported the move Wednesday, and Molden confirmed it on Twitter.

"Thank You all! I greatly appreciate it. Glad to be a Giant #NYGiants," the four-year veteran tweeted.
Molden saw some action against the Giants in last season's Super Bowl, although he started only two games in the regular season. He spent his first three NFL seasons playing for the Houston Texans.
Molden gives the Giants depth in the secondary. The team lost cornerback Aaron Ross to free agency, and cornerback Terrell Thomas missed the entire 2011 season with a knee injury.
Earlier Wednesday, the Giants traded for Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Keith Rivers and signed free-agent offensive lineman Sean Locklear, who played for the Washington Redskins in 2011.
