Ndamukong Suh won't be punished for Morris incident

Ndamukong Suh moved to South Beach but his reputation followed in his carry-on luggage.

During the second quarter of the Miami Dolphins' 17-10 victory over the Washington Redskins, Suh tackled running back Alfred Morris. While getting up and returning to the huddle, the defensive tackle's right leg contacted Morris' facemask, knocking the tailback's helmet off.

Had this incident involved any other man in the NFL, it likely would have gone unnoticed, but because of Suh's reputation as a habitual line stomper, it caught attention.

However, it won't go on Suh's official record.

NFL spokesman Michael Signora told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport that the play was reviewed by the senior football operations staff and there will be no action taken. There was contact between the players, but "Suh's action was not deemed a kick."

Suh will not be fined or face punishment for the incident.
