Mourning Zimmer expected to coach Bengals' defense vs. Ravens

CINCINNATI -- Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer is expected to coach in Sunday's game at Baltimore, three days after the unexpected death of his wife.

The team said Saturday that Zimmer will be accompanied by his father, his son and one of his daughters.

Vikki Zimmer died Thursday night in Cincinnati. A cause of death hasn't been announced. The Zimmers were married for 27 years.

Mike Zimmer is in his second season with the Bengals, who face the Ravens in an AFC North showdown. Both teams are 3-1, and the winner will gain sole possession of first place in the division.

Zimmer's defense has been a key part of the Bengals' success this season, giving up just 19 points per game.
