Mora interested in Broncos' post, still contender with Eagles

New head coach John Fox began putting together his staff Monday, but he still needs a defensive coordinator, and NFL Network analyst Jim Mora is interested, a source with knowledge of the situation said Monday.

Mora, 49, is the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks; his father, also named Jim, is the former head coach of the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.

*The Denver Post* reported Monday night that Mora, a defensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers for five years before his hiring as a head coach, traveled to Denver to meet with Fox.

The Broncoshired Fox on Thursday.

Mora also remains a candidate to replace ousted Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Sean McDermott.
